The Punjab''s Appreciation of Lord Hardinge''s Service

AT the next morning of the Punjab Legislative Council on the 19th instant the Hon'ble Rai Bahadur Ram Saras Das will move the following resolution:-"This Council recommends to His Honour the Lieutenant Governor to convey to His Excellency Lord Hardinge the cordial appreciation by the people of the Punjab of the unique services rendered by Lord Hardinge to India and the British Empire at a time of grave crisis and especially to the Land of the Five Rivers by His Excellency's resolve to recommend the establishment of a High Court in the Punjab and the enlargement of the Local Legislative Council."
