2 DAV College NCC cadets awarded in R-Day function

Bathinda, January 28

Two DAV College NCC cadets---Mehakpal Singh and Shikha Singla---were awarded for leading the NCC contingent of boys and girls at district level Republic Day function organised at Multipurpose Sports Stadium here.

The parade commanders were honored by chief guest Health and Family Welfare Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu. The NCC cadets of the college exhibited extraordinary aptitude under the guidance of Colonel Jeyvendera Singh, Commanding Officer, 20 Pb Bn NCC Bathinda and Lt. Rajesh Batra, ANO.

Principal Sanjeev Sharma appreciated the cadets Mehakpal Singh and Shikha Singla for their coordination and synergy during the parade. He applauded Lt Rajesh Batra for the specialised and meticulous training imparted to the students.

Vice-Principal Parveen Kumar Garg represented the college at Multipurpose Sports Stadium to encourage the cadets and bless them when the awards were being conferred on them.

Imbued with the spirit of patriotism, college staff members were present during the function.
