Bathinda, March 25

Bathinda Rural Congress president Khushbaz Singh Jattana on Monday held a meeting with party workers from Maur at Congress Bhawan on Monday.

The meeting came after he held meetings with the party workers at Talwandi Sabo and Sangat Mandi

Addressing the workers, Jattana said each and every Congress worker should work for the victory of the Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

He said workers were the backbone of the party and the Congress had always given respect and honour to its workers.

He said they would win all Lok Sabha seats in Punjab under the leadership of Capt Amarinder Singh and would make Rahul Gandhi the next prime minister of the country.

He said for two days on March 31 and April 1, PPCC president Sunil Jakhar and OSM to the CM Capt Sandeep Sandhu would hold meetings with the party workers in the district.

He said in the 10-year tenure of SAD-BJP, they had failed to improve the economy and the development graph in the state. But due to the two years of hard work done by the Capt Amarinder Singh government, they had been able to bring both sectors back on track.

Congress workers Gopal Jassi, Rupinder Bindra, Surinder Gupta, Vijay Goyal, Jaswinder Kaur Johal, Ranjit Singh and others were present at the meeting.
