The IAS and Allied Services Training Centre at Punjabi University will start new batches for giving coaching for the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other entrance exams.
The university authorities said the centre was the oldest in the region and providing quality coaching for competitive exams at affordable fees. They said students from various parts of Punjab and neighbouring states come to the centre to prepare for the exams.
“IAS and allied services training centre is open on all days throughout the year. It has the best infrastructure for students, who are preparing for competitive exams,” said varsity officials.
“Experts from academic background and serving civil servants regularly interact with aspirants at the centre to motivate them and discuss relevant issues,” they added.
Applications for admission to coaching classes of UGC/NET, Punjab Civil Services (Pre Judicial) and IELTS/spoken English could be sent to the IAS and Allied Services Training Centre by March 25, said officials.
