Covid-19: Chandigarh sees 7 fresh cases of virus

Chandigarh: The city on Sunday reported seven fresh cases of Covid-19 and no death due to the virus. Nine patients were cured of the disease in the past 24 hours. — TNS

Nine more infected in Mohali district

Mohali: Nine fresh Covid cases were reported from the district on Sunday. With no fresh death, the toll stands at 1,072. Among the new cases, four are from Kharar, three from Gharuan and one each from Dhakoli and Mohali. The total cases in the district stand at 68,983 and the recoveries 67,859. There are 52 active cases. Five patients have recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours. — TNS

Two fresh cases in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district on Sunday reported two fresh cases of coronavirus, taking the overall tally to 30,843. The toll, however, remained at 379. While 30,448 people have recovered from the disease so far, 16 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.71 per cent. — TNS
