Mohali: Four persons died of Covid-19, while 194 new cases were reported from the district on Friday. As many as 165 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. Among the fresh cases, 136 were reported from Mohali (urban), 26 from Kharar, 17 from Dhakoli, eight from Dera Bassi, three from Gharuan, two from Lalru and one each from Boothgarh and Kurali. The district has so far seen 21,531 cases, while 19,954 have been cured. TNS

135 more test +ve in Chandigarh

Chandigarh: The city on Friday reported 135 new cases of Covid-19, taking the tally to 22,832. With no fresh fatality, the toll remained 357. Over 1,500 people have been tested for the disease since Thursday. The city has 936 active cases. In the past 24 hours, 58 patients have recovered. So far, the UT has seen 21,539 recoveries. TNS

29 contract virus in Panchkula dist

Panchkula: The district on Friday reported 29 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 11,223. The Covid toll remained at 149. While 10,769 patients have recovered from the disease so far, 305 cases are still active.

The recovery rate stands at 95.95 per cent. TNS
