No death, 6 new Covid cases in Chandigarh


Chandigarh, October 7

The city reported six cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. There was no fresh death due to the virus, while 17 patients were cured of the disease. —TNS

No new case for 2nd day in Mohali

Mohali: For the second consecutive day, no new case of Covid was reported from the district and the overall tally remained at 68,749. No death was reported till Thursday evening while one patient was cured of the disease. As of now, 67,656 patients have been cured while 1,068 succumbed to the virus. There are 25 active cases. Meanwhile, a total of 1,488 persons were vaccinated on Thursday and 860 of them got their second jab. — TNS

Just one case in Panchkula district

Panchkula: The district reported just one fresh coronavirus case on Thursday, taking the overall tally to 30,742. The toll remained at 378. While 30,358 people have recovered from the infectious disease so far, six cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.75 per cent. —TNS
