SDM inspects grain market in Kharar

In order to check the ongoing arrival and purchase of paddy, the Kharar SDM, Himanshu Jain, paid a surprise visit to the local grain market today. The SDM inquired about the arrival and purchase of paddy at the grain market from officials concerned.

The Kharar tehsildar, Mandeep Singh Dhillon, Sanjeev Kumar and other officials of the market committee were also present on the occasion. The SDM discussed issues related to purchase of paddy with farmers and gave necessary instructions to the staff in this regard.

He told the market committee staff not to harass farmers and lift paddy on priority basis.
