Thieves decamp with cash, silver ornaments from locked house

Thieves targeted a locked house in Dera Bassi. They took away cash and other valuables. According to sources, the house owner was away along with family when miscreants targeted his house, the police said. The incident came to light when the family returned home and found locks of the house broken, the police added.

In a statement to the police owner of the house stated that he had gone out of station along with his family. When he along with his family returned home, they found locks of their house broken and things scattered here and there. Meanwhile, the police have started probe into the matter.
