Chandigarh, December 3
While the UT Administration has sought suggestions from public on renaming localities in the city, residents of Ram Darbar have raised a demand to change the name of their locality also. In a letter to the UT Adviser, former Mayor Kamlesh stated the UT Administration was going to rename some areas of the city. She added that residents of Ram Darbar had been demanding since 1998 to rechristen Ram Darbar as Sector 31 (East). — TNS
