Online revenue court pilot project launched

FATEHGARH SAHIB: A pilot project of Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) was inaugurated by Sukh Sarkaria, Minister for Revenue, through video conferencing, at the revenue courts of Amloh in the district on Friday.

A pilot project of Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) was inaugurated by Sukh Sarkaria, Minister for Revenue, through video conferencing, at the revenue courts of Amloh in the district on Friday. With this Fatehgarh Sahib has become the first district in the country, where the working of revenue courts has become online.

Vini Mahajan Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue-cum-FCR, said, “Besides generation of summon notices, the system enables all stakeholders to get an SMS alert. They can check the status of their case anytime.” DC Kanwalpreet Brar said, “The system will bring transparency, save time, energy and money of the people.” — OC
