The 56th Panjab University Colloquium-cum-Shenmar Memorial Oration will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am at the PU Golden Jubilee Hall.
Parameswaran Iyer, Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, will deliver a lecture on ‘Implementation of large scale social transformation programmes: Lessons from the Swachh Bharat Mission’. Iyer is leading the Swachh Bharat Mission and the National Rural Drinking Water Programme of Centre.
The talk will highlight how the Swachh Bharat Mission transcended from a government programme to mass movement.
Prof Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, PU, will be the chief guest. — TNS
