Chandigarh, January 7

With 274 fresh cases, the Covid tally jumped to 2.64 lakh in the state today.

Meanwhile, six fatalities were reported in the past 24 hours, with one death each from Gurugram, Faridabad, Hisar, Karnal, Kurukshetra and Jind.

The maximum fresh cases came from Gurugam at 82, followed by 37 from Faridabad, 21 from Panchkula, 19 from Yamunanagar, 17 from Sonepat, 15 each from Ambala and Karnal and 13 from Panipat. — TNS
