115 donate blood at MM varsity

The NSS unit of MM University, Sadopur (Ambala), organised a blood donation camp, in collaboration with Rotary and Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Chandigarh, on Wednesday.

The camp was to mark the founder’s day of MM University and birthday of Dr Tarsem Garg, Chairman of MM University Trust and Chancellor of MM Universities in Mullana, Sadopur and Solan.  

During the camp, 115 units were collected. Later, 50 saplings of fruit-giving trees were planted.

A blood donation camp and a tree plantation drive were also organised at Maharishi Markandeshwar Deemed to be University. The camp was inaugurated by Tarsem Kumar Garg, Chancellor of the University. As many as 52 children donated blood. Later, 40 saplings were planted.
