Chandigarh, July 28

The Haryana New and Renewable Energy Department and the Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency (HAREDA) have formulated an action plan for setting up an institutional biogas plants in “gaushalas” and dairies.

The government is providing a subsidy of 40 per cent for setting up of such plants. A government spokesperson said gaushala and dairy operators, who wanted to set up an institutional biogas plants, could apply in the office of the ADC of the district concerned. —TNS
