He asked the government to immediately investigate the matter in depth and take strict action against the culprits and ensure complete security of the MLA.

Hooda was here to attend a social programme organised by newly elected head of Bawal Municipality, Virendra Mahlawat. MLA Chiranjeev Rao was also present on the occasion.

Expressing his concern over the increasing crime in Haryana, he said those in the government had considered their security as an indicator of the law and order situation in the state, while murder, rape, theft, ransom, robbery, dacoity had become part of the daily routine in the state.

“The NCRB data shows that the law and order situation in the state had completely collapsed under the BJP-JJP rule,” he added.
