Gurugram: The Nuh police arrested four persons from Kherla village last night and recovered 74.9 grams of smack and illegal weapons from their possession. According to the police, the arrested persons have been identified as Kherla residents Taufiq, Shahid and Imran, and Jhanda village resident Rashid. A team, led by Inspector Satpal Singh, SHO of the Nuh city police station, conducted a raid at Kherla, where the accused were allegedly selling drugs. OC

Man dies in mishap, wife & kid hurt

Gurugram: A man died, while his wife and two-year-old daughter were seriously injured after being hit by a tempo while they were walking towards the auto stand at Rajiv Chowk on Tuesday evening. The tempo driver fled the scene after abandoning his vehicle on the spot. An FIR was registered on Wednesday. According to the police, Karansher Bahadur, a native of Rajkot in Gujarat, along with his wife Vishnu and daughter Kritika, disembarked from the bus and were heading to the auto stand. OC

One stabbed to death in F’bad

Gurugram: A man allegedly stabbed his brother-in-law to death with a knife during an altercation while they were drinking alcohol at Sanjay Colony in Faridabad. “We have detained the main suspect Mohar Singh and are questioning him,” said Inspector Surender Singh.
