Dharamsala, February 20
A three-day training workshop for senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers on ‘Team collaboration for increased output’, is currently taking place in McLeodganj, Dharamsala. The workshop shall conclude tomorrow. An initiative of the Ministry of Environment Forest and Climate Change (MOEFCC), the event is being conducted by the Himalayan Forest Research Institute. The objective of the workshop is to study team collaboration for better outcomes. As many as 21 participants from 14 states are undergoing brainstorming sessions to explore best practices and finer techniques in capacity-building.
The workshop started with an inaugural session on 'Experience sharing in developing team leadership' from Dr Savita, a retired Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF), and shall conclude with a valedictory session on the 21st.
