Social reformer Avinash Rai Khanna’s book ‘Samaj Chintan’ was released today in its Punjabi version at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium of Lovely Professional University (LPU) today.

Former Chief Secretary to Punjab Government Sarvesh Kaushal, Lovely Group chairman, Ramesh Mittal,LPU chancellor Ashok Mittal; writer Jatinder Pannu and Meenakshi Khanna unveiled the Punjabi version of the book. Focused on improving the basic fabric of the society, the 192 paged book has 9 sections and 52 chapters for all class of readers, irrespective of their caste, creed or culture.

Former member of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, Avinash Rai Khanna is National vice-president of the BJP. The BJP in-charge of Jammu-Kashmir, Rajasthan and Goa.

Speaking on the occasion Sarvesh Kaushal appreciated the efforts of Khanna in collecting his valuable thoughts based on real life experiences. He shared that this book is the most valuable, which awakens its readers and suggests solutions to the diverse problems.

He informed that usually books are found with more thoughts and pages, but this is less in contents and pages and more in solution providing thoughts. It’s each and every chapter is like a brain storming session.

Prominent amongst others who witnessed the occasion was Former Chairman, Improvement Trust Nabha, S Gurtej Singh Dhillon.
