As the city is going to be a smart city in near future, the talented and creative youth residing in city have already started making efforts to make the city no less than a mega city. For the artists and creative people who always look for a platform to showcase their talent, Nojoto, an entertainment oriented digital channel organised an open mic show in the city. Organised at a private restaurant, Nojoto, which is an interest-based network brought people together and helped them interact with each other. It was organised by DAV college students and was the first of its kind event that ever happened in the city.

Harsh, one of the organising members, said, “Nojoto is a platform that is beyond any boundary and people who have interest in singing, poetry, stand-up comedy, musical instruments and ghazal have registered themselves to be a part of this interest based network.”

Further, another team member said, “With a mission to form a community of artists that learns from each other and helps propel creativity and innovation, this open mic show was organised to provide a stage to the talented youth to share their interests and a common medium to communicate freely.” Not only the students, the working clan of the city can also spread their thoughts in this new community of like-minded people. — TNS
