Female under-graduate and master’s students who have opted computer science as their career plan are called by Adobe Research to bring gender diversity by recognising their potential and outstanding intellect in the stream of computer science.

Eligibility: Candidate must be academically strong and should be intending to to or be already  enrolled in undergraduate or master’s programme of computer science, computer engineering, or in any technical programme in current academic session are welcomed to apply for the opportunity. 

Details: Selected candidate will be given $10,000 for one time, creative cloud subscription for an year, a research mentor from Adobe and an opportunity to be interviewed for an internship at Adobe.

Pre-matric scheme for minorities 

The Ministry of Minority Affairs is helping students from minority community i.e. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians or Parsis,  by acting as an economic assistant to students, so as to help them progress with their higher education by eliminating the financial hurdles. 

Eligibility: Students studying in Class 1 to X, having secured a minimum 50 per cent in previous final examination with annual family income not exceeding Rs 1 lakh, are eligible to apply.

Details: Hostellers and day scholars, of Class VI to X will be given admission fee of Rs 500 p.a. and tuition fee of Rs 350 per month. Maintenance allowance of Rs 100, 600 and Rs 100 will be provided to the day scholars of Class 1 to V, hostellers of Class VI to X and day scholars of Class VI to X, respectively, for a period of 10 months in an academic year.

For professional & technical courses CS (minorities) 

The scholarship is financially backing students from minority community i.e. Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Buddhists, Jains and Zoroastrians or Parsis, who are undertaking graduation or post-graduation in any technical or professional field from a recognized institution.

Eligibility: Students, who got admission by clearing competitive entrance exam or in case of direct admission, must have scored minimum 50 per cent in Class XII or graduation with family income not more than Rs 2.50 lakh. 50 per cent marks in the previous final examination can apply.

Details: Hostellers and day scholars will be granted Rs 20,000 p.a. for course or actual (whichever is less) and monthly maintenance allowance of Rs 1000 to hostellers and Rs 500 to day scholars will be provided for 10 months in an academic year.
