Virat Kohli thanks Anushka for inspiring him to open shelter for stray animals

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have always come forward for social causes. The couple has never shied away from taking a stand for the safety of animals, especially the stray ones. And now, Virat’s foundation has started a movement for the same.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Virat Kohli announced the movement and thanked his wife Anushka Sharma for inspiring him to take the big step.

Virat wrote, “To ensure health and support services to stray animals, @vkfofficial has now taken its first step towards animal welfare in collaboration with @vivaldisanimalhealth. I want to thank my wife, @anushkasharma, for inspiring me by her passion towards animals and for being a constant advocate for animal rights. I look forward to this opportunity to help the strays of our city.”

Anushka also responded to the post with multiple hearts in the comments’ section.
