Ludhiana, July 6
The Health Department on Wednesday confirmed 31 fresh cases of Covid-19 from the district. Besides, four patients from other districts or states have tested positive for the virus.
The Civil Surgeon’s office here has confirmed 1,10,589 positive cases of the virus from Ludhiana district and 14,851 cases from other districts or states so far. It has stated that 2,293 patients from the district and 1,127 patients from other districts or states have died of the virus till date.
Of the 147 active cases in the district, 141 patients were in home isolation and six were under treatment at hospitals. — TNS
