Teachers of various schools were felicitated during separate functions in the region to celebrate Teacher’s Day. The main function was organised by the local unit of Rotary Club at Jain Samadh, where the teachers felicitated vowed to dedicate their lives to the cause of reformation of the society, in view of the ever-changing social-economic portfolio.

Excise and Taxation Officer Moti Khan was the chief guest. Additional Superintending Engineer, PSPCL, Amandeep Khangura; Surinder Kuradchhappa, president of Arhtia Association; and Jai Gopal Goyal, a social activist, distributed awards among the teachers. — OC
