Though he did not enter the Lok Sabha, where he is an elected member, Sivaprasad was standing at the entrance to the House. He has been protesting along with other TDP MPs demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh
A Telugu actor, Sivaprasad had joined the TDP in 1995 and went on to become the Information and Culture Minister in 1999. A two-time MP from Chittoor, he won in 2009 and 2014
