The BSF today recovered 2 kg heroin worth Rs 10 crore in the international market near the New Gazniwala border outpost on the International Border in the Jalalabad area of Fazilka. Official sources said personnel of BSF 124 Battalion noticed movement across the border fencing early today. A jawan fired four rounds to prevent infiltration.
On search, two packets containing suspected contraband wrapped in black socks were recovered from the paddy fields. — OC
