Nakodar, February 28

Inaugurating the newly constructed Mother Child Hospital in Nakodar, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Maan today said that more such hospitals will be dedicated to the people in the coming days.

CM Mann said this 30-bed new maternal and child wing constructed at an approximate cost of Rs 6 crore, will provide better health care facilities to the people. He added that doctors specialised in women health care will remain posted at this facility.

The CM said that this health facility will provide proper check-up of antenatal, high-risk pregnancies and will ensure their safe deliveries including caesarean deliveries by expert doctors and staff.

The health facility will have neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) facility for the low birth weight and pre-term born babies under the same roof.
