Following the footsteps of the SAD regime, the Congress government is all set to make over 70 political appointments in various boards and corporations.
After getting a nod from Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, the government is expected to make the appointments in coming days.
Already over two dozen political appointments in boards and corporation have been made in the past two months.
Sources said fresh appointments include posting of chairpersons in some of the improvement trusts. Notably, of the total 28 improvement trusts in the state, 12 have been declared defunct.
