Case against Bikram Majithia is an election stunt, says AAP

Chandigarh, December 21

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has termed the FIR against Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia as an election stunt of the ruling Congress.

Addressing the media on Tuesday, AAP’s Punjab co-incharge Raghav Chadha alleged, “We had told on December 8 that the deal between CM Charanjit Channi and Sukhbir Badal has been struck at a farm house. The Channi government will register a case against Majithia on weak grounds for electoral gains. It’s an election stunt.”

He said, “The outcome of Majithia case will be similar to that of the Raja Warring bus case, in which all seized buses were released the next day.” — TNS
