A passenger identified as Mohammad Danish was arrested for allegedly misbehaving with an air hostess on an IndiGo flight, which flies between Srinagar and Lucknow via Amritsar.

The incident occurred on Friday, following which, a case was registered with the Airport police. Danish was arrested under Section 509 of the IPC. He was later released on bail.

According to police, Danish was travelling to Lucknow. He was standing outside the plane during transit check. The air hostess asked him thrice to move from the spot, but he allegedly started misbehaving with the staff. When asked to wear a mask, he started using foul language, said the police. Danish was later deboarded from the flight.
