Chandigarh, October 10
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today paid homage to the civilians who were reportedly killed in targeted terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
AAP MLAs and spokespersons Kultar Singh Sandhwan and Aman Arora said party leaders and volunteers took out candles marches at all district headquarters to pay homage to the terror victims.
Condemning the killings, AAP leaders urged the Centre to protect the minority communities in the Valley, including Kashmiri Pandits and Sikhs. “The recent killings are a matter of serious concern. The Centre should boost security and protect those living in the Valley.” Taking a dig at the Centre, the AAP leaders said the claims of curbing terrorism and maintaining peace in the Valley with abrogation of Article 370 had turned out to be hollow. — TNS
