The fun we had!

It was always the same cheerful morning and the same classmates, still everyday was unique in its own way. The shouting and the hopping around in the classroom before the teacher entered, running all over the classroom when maths period was declared a substitute period, running down the corridor with enthusiasm during the games period. 

During the lunch break we used to share food with each other and wait eagerly for games period after our social science class. If one classmate was in a problem we all supported him/her. It was crazy how we danced in the class after coming from dance period showing off our steps.

On someone's birthdays we would line up at our classmate's table demanding for extra sweets. In the games period we protected ourselves from flying balls like in a battlefield.

Creating nuisance in class was our birthright! We know that troubling teachers isn't fun and could cause a lot of trouble, still we did that and the fun we had can never be put into words.

But, now we all our trapped in our homes just like a bird in a cage waiting for its freedom. But we have to stay this way, otherwise we can get infected from a fatal disease Covid-19. During this lockdown we are quarantined in our houses to protect ourselves and we are having online classes. But these classes are quite different from what we used to have earlier.

The thing is everyone is in their houses and video conferencing from there and cannot talk in between. So the lectures go smoothly without any disturbance. No one ever thought of having online classes, but here we are locked in our houses when the whole world is in lockdown fighting from this disease.
