Kapur and Chikkarangappa were tied-fifth after the opening day. Honey Baisoya, Karandeep Kochhar and Viraj Madappa were tied-10th at 3-under 69. SSP Chawrasia, Ajeetesh Sandhu and Veer Ahwalat were T-24 at 2-under. Jeev Milkha Singh and Khalin Joshi were T-42 at 1-under.
