AMRITSAR: Panic gripped Link Road outside the railway station here this evening when two groups clashed over construction over a small wall between two adjoining shops.

Panic gripped Link Road outside the railway station here this evening when two groups clashed over construction over a small wall between two adjoining shops.

One of the groups allegedly fired in the air that led to panic on the busy road. Police officials immediately reached the spot and carried out investigations. According to the police authorities, a cross case is being registered in this connection. It has also reportedly rounded up two persons.

As per details, owners of two tours and travel shops, Chand Tour and Travels and Sri Radhe Krishan Travels, on Railway Link Road entered into a brawl when Ashok Kumar, the owner of Chand Tour and Travels, was constructing a small wall.

BK Singla, ACP (North), said that both the shops are located adjoining each other. He said some persons who were accompanying Anil Kumar, the owner of Sri Radhe Krishan Travels, allegedly opened fire. He said investigations were under progress and a cross case is being registered in this regard.
