Chandigarh, June 20
The police arrested Gurdeep Singh, a resident of Punjab, on the charge of raping a 21-year-old college girl, on Wednesday. The accused was arrested from near Hoshiarpur. The accused had befriended the victim and then allegedly raped her. A case has been registered. —TNS
