Peace Day celebrated

CHANDIGARH: The Mahatma Gandhi Peace Club of the Institute of Educational Technology and Vocational Education (IETVE), Panjab University, celebrated International Day of Peace on the theme: The Right to Peace - The universal declaration of human rights at 70”, here on Friday.



Chandigarh, September 21 

The Mahatma Gandhi Peace Club of the Institute of Educational Technology and Vocational Education (IETVE), Panjab University, celebrated International Day of Peace on the theme: The Right to Peace - The universal declaration of human rights at 70”, here on Friday. 

The celebrations were started with tree plantation on the campus. The students delivered speeches, presentations and participated in face-painting competitions.  Ankit, Mandeep and Japsimran bagged first, second and third positions in presentations, respectively. Nisha, Nehal, Reetika and Jyoti stood first, second and third in face-painting contest, respectively. — TNS
