The government has issued an advisory to schools asking them to spread awareness among students about the symptoms of H1N1 influenza (swine flu) and preventive measures.
Coming Sunday ministers and MLAs along with the Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) will participate in awareness activities in their areas for controlling dengue and chikungunya too, said the government.
“Schools are advised to create awareness in children about the do's and dont's with respect to Influenza A H1N1 (Swine Flu) during morning assembly. “They should be encouraged to practice personal hygiene,” read the advisory.
