Drug menace rampant in state: Justice Sikri

BATHINDA: The deep-rooted drug menace in Punjab can be eliminated by creating awareness among the youths, said Supreme Court judge Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri.

Bathinda, May 9

The deep-rooted drug menace in Punjab can be eliminated by creating awareness among the youths, said Supreme Court judge Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri. He said 80 per cent of the state’s population was linked to drugs in one form or the other.

Justice Sikri was in the city along with a group of Punjab and Haryana High Court judges to participate in programmes on the drug issue.
