CHANDIGARH: In the first semifinal of the 5th AG Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament, JW Marriott defeated Dabur India by 31 runs at the cricket stadium of Sector 16 today.

In the first semifinal of the 5th AG Corporate T-20 Cricket Tournament, JW Marriott defeated Dabur India by 31 runs at the cricket stadium of Sector 16 today.

Electing to bat first, the winning side set a target of 186 runs for 8 wickets with Abhilash (68 runs) and Paritosh (36 runs) scoring a lion’s share.

For the bowling side, Kuldeep was the pick of the day. He claimed five for 19 runs. In reply, Dabur side scored 155 runs for seven wickets with Prameet (68 runs) and Vikki (45 runs) contributing the major share. For the bowling side, Sheetal claimed three for 8 runs.

In the second semifinal, Ranbaxy VI registered a 5-wicket win over Kudos Chemie. The losing side scored 171 runs for 7 wickets. Ravi (52 runs) and Rajbir (30 rus) guided the team to achieve the total.

For the bowling side, Pushap claimed three for 23 runs. Ranbaxy scored 172 runs for 5 wickets with Sumit (57 runs), Pushap (56 runs) and Shishu Pal (28 runs) ensuring the team’s win. For the bowling side, Sumit claimed two for 23 runs.
