Youth found dead in DMCH bathroom

LUDHIANA: A youth was found dead in a bathroom of the DMCH today.



Ludhiana, November 21

A youth was found dead in a bathroom of the DMCH today. Drug overdose is suspected to be the cause of death of Manvinder Singh (25), a resident of Payal village, who had come to visit his kin admitted to the hospital. He was a farmer.

After meeting his kin, Manvinder went into a bathroom. When he didn’t come out for a long time, someone knocked the door. However, Manvinder didn’t respond to repeated knocks at the door. Later, the door was forcibly opened and he was found dead.

Doctors were called but the youth had already succumbed. His hand reportedly bore a mark of injection. —TNS
