In the face of the charges being levelled by the opposition Congress about Modi government being anti farmer and pro corporates, BJP national president Amit Shah today exhorted Uttarakhand BJP party workers to go to the masses and tell them about the 11 months of corruption-free rule of the Modi government during which several pro farmer initiatives and steps to end unemployment have been taken.

Shah said after coming to power Prime Minister Narendra Modi reversed the coal allocation and spectrum distribution done by the Congress government, favouring certain corporate houses.

"These reversed decisions helped the country earn revenue. It is the Congress and not the BJP which has traditionally been friendly with the corporate houses", he said.

"Certain sections in the media and the Opposition are projecting us as anti farmer and corporate friendly. There may be questions in your mind too. But you must go to the people and tell them that after the end of 10-year rule of corruption-tainted Congress government, in the 11 month rule of the Modi government not a single case of corruption against the BJP has surfaced", said Shah.
