Chandigarh, January 21

Amanjot Kaur will lead the 15-memebr Chandigarh women’s U-23 team in the One-Day Trophy, starting January 24 in Odisha.

  • Amanjot Kaur (captain), Monika Pandey, Rajni Devi, Nandani Sharma, Shivani Thakur, Kumari Shibbi, Parul Saini, Kashvee Gautam, Shivangi Yadav, Simranjeet Kaur, Rameza Begum, Mehul, Nikita Nain, Suman Rajput, Parushi Prabhakar

The side has been placed in the Plate Group along with Bihar, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram, Sikkim, Pondicherry and Jammu & Kashmir.

Chandigarh will open their campaign against Bihar on January 25 and face Meghalaya in their second fixture on January 28. They will take on Arunachal Pradesh on January 30 and square-off with Manipur on February 2.

Amanjot-led team will then clash with Nagaland on February 6, Mizoram on February 9, Sikkim on February 11, J&K on February 13 and Pondicherry on February 15.

The team will be accompanied by coach Nagesh Gupta, manager Indu, physiotherapist Harvir Kaur and trainer Raj Yadav.
