Civic body panel okays Rs 7.32L for approach roads in Sector 29

Chandigarh, May 28

The Road Committee of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation approved rough cost estimate for the construction of approach roads for plot numbers 779-796 (Type-V accommodation) and plot numbers 159-168 (Type-III accommodation) in Sector 29-A at an estimated cost of Rs7.32 lakh at a meeting held here today.

Check feasibility of parking in green belt

Members of the committee asked the officials concerned to check the feasibility of parking on a green belt in Sector 51.

The rough cost estimate for providing and fixing GI guard railing in front of the market adjoining V-4 road in Sector 40-C and D at an estimated cost of Rs5.74 lakh was also approved during the meeting.
