Chandigarh, July 14
Car-borne miscreants on Saturday robbed a Mohali resident of a gold chain and Rs 5,600 in cash near the grain market in Sector 39 here.
Mohammad Shahid of Jhujhar Nagar, who works at a boutique in Burail, said the incident took place around 4 am when he was returning home on his bike. An Indigo car stopped near him, from which three youths got down. One of them held an axe while the other two were armed with sticks. They threatened and robbed him. —TNS
