FIR against RSS functionaries sought

JALANDHAR: Activists and members of the Press and Electronic Media Association (PEMA), protesting against the derogatory remarks made by a senior RSS leader, met the Commissioner of Police here yesterday.

Activists and members of the Press and Electronic Media Association (PEMA), protesting against the derogatory remarks made by a senior RSS leader, met the Commissioner of Police here yesterday.

Members of the PEMA under the supervision of its president Surinder Pal Singh said: “It is a matter of shame that the leader has referred to women journalists as prostitutes on Facebook. They asked the commissioner to lodge an FIR against the RSS functionaries and take strict action against him.
