Post-Doctoral Fellowships at Indian Institute of Astrophysics
Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) invites applications for two- year research fellowships in the field of astronomy and astrophysics which provide fixed monthly stipends and research contingency funds to selected scholars.
Eligibility: Indian applicants with PhD degree in physical/mathematical Sciences from a recognised university/institute may apply for this fellowship. Applicants for Regular Postdoctoral Fellowships and Chandrashekhar Postdoctoral Fellowships (under this combined fellowship programme) must be below 36 years and 32 years of age ,respectively.
Details: Selected fellows will be awarded with monthly stipends up to Rs 60,000 depending on which fellowship they secure. Similarly they will also be provided an annual contingency grant of up to Rs 200,000. Other grants for books, house rent and medical expenses are also covered under this fellowship programme.

Dr. Goolam E. Vahanvati Scholarship Fund is providing scholarships to students pursuing law degree courses across the nation to study at premier law institutions. This scholarship program will provide students a chance to be mentored by elite judiciary communities of India.
Eligibility: Indian students pursuing LLB/LLM courses in any year of their course curriculum, at premier law institutions of India may apply for this scholarship. Students who have cleared CLAT, LSAT-India, AILET, or any other law entrance exam in 2019 may also apply. Applicants' family income should not be more than ?10.00 Lakhs per annum. Every applicant should have scored at least 60 per cent in Class X and XII exams.
Details: Selected scholars will be awarded a scholarship sum of Rs 50,000 to Rs 2.00 lakh per year to pay for academic expenses. Scholars would also receive training and mentorship.
