1,200 weeks and still counting

Some Bollywood movies make it big at the box office, while some tend to remain etched in our memories forever. One of the most-loved movies till date is Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The 1995 movie, directed by Aditya Chopra, made the love story of Raj and Simran a common saga in every household. The movie recently completed 1200 weeks of success.

Marking the occasion, Kajol took to Twitter. “1200 weeks and still running! thank you all for all the love that you have been showering on #DDLJ for so many years! It was, it is and will always be an incredibly special film for all of us. @iamsrk @yrf #AdityaChopra.” Till date, the movie is screened in Maratha Mandir theatre in Mumbai.
