Man arrested with 600-gm opium

LUDHIANA: The police have arrested a person and recovered 600-gms of opium from his possession.

Ludhiana, April 21

The police have arrested a person and recovered 600-gms of opium from his possession.

Following a tip off, the police conducted a raid at street number 9, Kamla Nagar, where the accused was arrested.

Investigating officer Malkit Singh said they recovered the opium from the accused during the raid. The accused has been identified as Jaswinder Singh of Kamla Nagar, Ludhiana. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him at the Model Town police station.
