Ludhiana: On the complaint of Harminder Singh, a resident of Model Town Extension here, the police have registered a case under Sections 420 and120-B (fraud, cheating and criminal conspiracy) against Rahul Bajaj and his sister Ritu Bajaj, who were running a travel agency in Pandav Nagar, Shakarpur, New Delhi. The complainant, owner of an educational institution, College Abroad, said he used to book air tickets for his students through the travel agency owned by the accused persons. He said till date he had got 41 tickets booked out of which the accused had got 13 tickets cancelled and did not refund balance amount of Rs13.03 lakh. TNS

16-year-old girl goes missing

Ludhiana: A 16-year-old minor girl was reported missing from her residence in Focal Point Phase 7 since yesterday. Father of the missing girl, a resident of Raju Da Vehra, in his complaint to the police said that his daughter had left home in the morning of Wednesday and did not come back. He apprehended that someone might have kidnapped the girl on the pretext of marrying her. The police have registered a case under Sections 363 and 366-A of the IPC and investigation is on. TNS
