Addressing the national executive meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested a “sneh yatra” to reach out to all sections of society.

Explaining the meaning of the “sneh yatra”, senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said “basically the Prime Minister talked of a new political culture where the political ecosystem transcended beyond battering and went in for coordination and peace.

“The sneh yatra is also about (goodwill) and samanvay (harmony) and positive politics,” Prasad said.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also asked the Uttar Pradesh state unit to reach out to Dalit Muslims and other minorities on issues related to welfare programmes of the government, said sources.
